Brine Hamilton joins Omnigo

Brine Hamilton recently joined Omnigo, a public safety and incident management software solutions provider, as a systems engineer in the company’s health-care vertical.

Hamilton has been involved in the security industry since 2005, primarily within the health-care field. His health care experience includes both frontline and leadership roles as  a proprietary and outsourced employee in both the public and private sector.

He currently serves as faculty at Fleming College, Seneca College and previously Humber College, twice being named a “Top 10 Prof” at Fleming College. He has been able to combine his passions for teaching and the security industry by starting “The Healthcare Security Cast” which has been downloaded over 5,500 times in 51 countries. He is also the co-host of the “Proactive Security Podcast” with Mike Hodges. Recently Hamilton was recognized by Canadian Security, earning a place on its Top 10 Under 40 list for 2020. He currently serves on the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety Board of Directors as a Member-at-Large and is a member of many other committees and advisory boards.

Hamilton will also participate as a panelist at Canadian Security’s CS Honours virtual event on Oct. 1.
