ASIS announces Awards of Excellence winners

ASIS International recently announced its Awards of Excellence winners for 2023.

According to the association, the awards “honour the important work and accomplishments of ASIS members worldwide. They are honoured not only for their accomplishments but also for setting standards for the industry to model across the globe.”

Among this year’s honorees is Harold Wax, who will receive the Don Walker Memorial CSO Center Security Executive Award at a presentation on Sept. 10 during GSX, held in Dallas, Tex. Wax is the global security director at PepsiCo. and was recognized by Canadian Security as Security Director of the Year in 2020.
