COVID-19 Updates News ASIS International COVID-19 gsx

ASIS International recently updated its blog to address its forthcoming Global Security Exchange (GSX) conference and exhibition (currently scheduled for Sept. 21-23 in Atlanta, Ga.), stating that it is currently reviewing options on the best way to proceed. A mix of physical and virtual, or all virtual, are alternatives that are currently on the table.

“At this stage, we are evaluating our means of safely accommodating attendees at the Georgia World Congress Center in accordance with health and safety recommendations—and our means of potentially moving the event, in part or in full, to a virtual environment that offers the same high quality content, instructors, and dynamic interaction that you have come to expect from our in‐person GSX gatherings,” states the blog post, signed by Godfried Hendriks, ASIS president, and Peter J. O’Neil, the organization’s CEO.

The post further states that a final decision will be made by June 22 to provide sufficient notice to attendees and exhibitors to make suitable arrangements. Read the full blog post here.
