Dr. Bill Howatt Ph.D., Ed.D., Post Doctorate Behavioral Science, University of California is the President and Founder of Howatt HR Consulting. Dr. Howatt, a behavioural scientist, is known as one of Canada’s top experts in mental health issues in the workplace and has more than 30 years of experience in the field of mental health, addiction, and HR consulting.
Dr. Howatt has 22 online courses through the University of New Brunswick including the senate approved psychological safe leaders’ certificate and Certified Management Essentials.
He is the Chair of CSA Standard 21008: Management of Substance Related Impairment in the Workplace, as well a part of CSA OHS Standards steering committee. He is also the Chief of Research for Hugr International, which is focused on developing mental health apps, and is a member of the International Research Advisory Council (IRAC) at Pacific Coast University of Workplace Health Sciences (PCU-WHS).

Dr. Howatt is the Chief of Research and Workforce Productivity at The Conference Board of Canada and Chief of Research and Development, Workforce Productivity at Morneau Shepell.

He is a busy author having published over 400 articles and 40 books, including “Stop Hiding and Start Living.”
