PalAmerican expands in California with acquisition

News Paladin Security palamericanPalAmerican Security announced the acquisition of Genesis Private Security in San Jose, Calif., effective March 31.
“For PalAmerican, this once again demonstrates our growth model strategy for our existing markets,” Jason Begin, president, PalAmerican, said in a statement. “With the addition of San Jose, we will now have a strong hold in Northern California, pulling Sacramento, Oakland, San Francisco, and San Jose all together.”
As part of the acquisition, Genesis president Chris de Guzman has joined PalAmerican as vice-president, Silicon Valley.
“Silicon Valley is the global centre of technological innovation. It’s always looking for something or someone new to come in and disrupt the market – meaning who can disrupt the norm. While Genesis filled the gap, I am confident that PalAmerican build upon what Genesis started.” de Guzman said.
Genesis specializes in Class A commercial real estate, retail, and corporate campuses.
More than 550 employees have joined PalAmerican as a result of the acquisition, making California PalAmerican’s largest operating state, according to the company.
