Members of the Ontario chapter of the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) presented a $25,500 cheque to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation earlier this week. The funds were raised via the chapter’s 15th annual golf tournament, which was held at the Summit Golf and Country Club in Richmond Hill, Ont., on July 15.

The chapter has donated more than $110,000 to the foundation over the golf tournament’s 15-year history. This year, the event was sponsored and supported by Genetec, Johnson Controls, Paladin, Precise ParkLink, Habtech, Morse Canada, Trillium Integration, GardaWorld, Groove Badges / Groove Identification Solutions, Convergint Technologies, Axis Communications, Bosch Communications Systems, Inc., 3D Network Technology, Fitch, ASSA ABLOY Group, Lakeshore Communications, Stanley Security Solutions, Strategic Risk Protection, Securitas Solutions and Infinity of Willowdale. Canadian Security magazine is the tournament’s official media sponsor.

The IAHSS Ontario chapter will host its 16th annual tournament in July 2020.
