Hurd recipient of ASIS Ron Minion Memorial Award

The award, previously known as the Pioneer Award, is presented each year at Canada Night to the Canadian ASIS security professional who has consistently contributed to the betterment of the security industry over a period of time.

Hurd is the vice-chair of the ASIS International Oil, Gas and Chemical Sector Council. He was presented the award by Jason Caissie, assistant regional vice-president ASIS International and Bill Bradshaw, senior regional vice-president, Region 50, at the ASIS International Canada Night partty held in Dallas Oct. 11 at Eddie Deen’s Ranch.
