Most lockout hasps in the market today are made of plastic or steel. Steel hasps are strong but may corrode and plastic hasps don't corrode but are not as durable as steel.

Stainless steel is not only durable; it’s also corrosive-resistant. The S431 is constructed of stainless steel (316 grade) which is a marine grade. It features 4mm diameter hasp to fit smaller lockout holes and accepts up to eight padlocks, including two manager padlocks. It works with all Master Lock and American Lock safety padlocks, hasps, and S100 Lockout Leash. Dimensions are 1-3/4″ x 5-1/4″ x 1″ inside jaw diameter.

Like the sister product, the S430, its applications include smaller electrical throw switches and miniature circuit breakers.
