Security the watchword as Edmonton police report spike in bike thefts

News Public Sector bike theft Edmonton securityBy the end of July, Edmonton police had recorded 392 bike thefts across the city, compared with 304 thefts by the end of July 2012.
Last month alone, according to the Edmonton Journal, police saw a 29 per cent increase in thefts, from 82 in July 2012 to 118 this July. Those numbers are expected to reach a high in August. Read the full article on the Edmonton Journal website here.
