
Security guard stabbed at Nova Scotia grocery store

News Retail loss prevention nova scotia security guardAccording to reports, a security guard was stabbed while apprehending a suspected shoplifter at a Dartmouth, NS, grocery store last Friday.
A CBC article on the subject states:
Halifax Regional Police say the guard arrested a 16-year-old boy for stealing food at the No Frills store at 118 Wyse Rd. at about 5:30 p.m. As the guard was bringing the young man to the office, he turned and stabbed the guard in the abdomen.
The suspect was later arrested and the guard was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
