
School safety upgrades called for in report

News K-12A report prompted by the fatal stabbing of a 19-year-old student in September is calling for stepped-up security measures at Toronto high schools.
A panel reporting to the Toronto District School Board was formed after Hamid Aminzada, 19, was stabbed to death at Albion Collegiate in September while trying to break up a hallway fight. Read the full story on the CBC website here.
