Para Systems protects critical data

Para Systems Inc. has announced its Minuteman EnSpire standby UPS series. Two models are being introduced: the EnSpire EN400 rated at 400VA/300Watts and the EnSpire EN600 rated at 600VA/300Watts. Back-up time for both units is two minutes at full-load and ten minutes at half-load, allowing time to systematically turn off connected equipment without losing critical data. Each unit has six outlets: three provide battery support along with spike and surge protection and three provide spike and surge protection only. In addition, two of the outlets are specifically spaced to support transformer blocks.

Features of the EnSpire Standby UPS include USB connections are automatically recognized by Microsoft’s Windows software. No special USB drivers are required. The EnSpire Series automatically recognizes USB connections with its HID (Human Interface Device) compliant USB communications. Minuteman’s SentryPlus auto-shutdown and monitoring software is included with every unit. No special downloads or coupons are required. The EnSpire UPS provides a means of protecting telephone/fax/modem lines. EnSpire products are manufactured in accordance with RoHS guidelines. The 400VA and 600VA capacities of these units has been increased over previous models allowing them to support larger power requirements.
