G4S appoints new GM for Fort McMurray

At G4S, Troy’s number one priority is the safety of all G4S employees. He is also responsible for the financial management of the Fort McMurray branch, including creating and implementing action plans to achieve branch financial goals. He holds full responsibility for all operations matters, including customer service, meeting budgeted targets, business administration, industrial and labour relations, and training.

Troy is a multi-disciplined security professional who has gained expertise from three continents over two decades. Having gained real-world training in multiple environments and industries, he is uniquely equipped to provide professional security in any area, based on both industry best practices and hands-on-experience. He is a disciplined professional that produces tangible results and leaves clients confident in his ability to manage and secure assets while maintaining continuous improvement.
 
Previously, Troy has held management and operational positions with several private security providers in Canada. He also spent 10 years with the United States Army. His responsibilities have included anti-terrorism; airport perimeter; secondary screening for international air carriers; supply chain management security; rail; petroleum oil and lubricants (POL); prisoner search, seizure and escort; and commercial and residential security programs. Troy’s many areas of expertise include: Security and Risk Audits, Security Program Development and Contract Implementation, ISO 9001 compliance, Security Management, Physical Security, Security Officer Operations, Investigations, Crisis Management and Legal Issues.
