News Industry NewsTORONTO — Four children who were reported missing in Toronto earlier in the week have been found safe.
Toronto police say the three boys and one girl, ages 12 and 13, were found at around 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Police had previously said the four friends were last seen getting on transit in the city’s northeast end at around 11:20 p.m. the night before.
They say the group was seen on security video at the movies and then at a local mall before getting onto the Toronto Transit Commission.
Police say they received many tips after issuing a release about the children’s whereabouts, and after being located by officers, the four were returned to their parents.
There was no indication of foul play.
