Allied Universal acquires event security company

Allied Universal announced the acquisition of Landmark Event Staffing Services, an event security and guest services company.

“This acquisition supports Allied Universal’s growth agenda for our event services business which continues its trajectory expansion in the U.S.,” said Allied Universal global chairman and CEO Steve Jones in a statement. “The acquisition of Landmark is an example of the type of organization we want to join the Allied Universal family where culture and well-respected event service leadership and operations align with our values and goal to be the world’s best service company.”

Landmark Event Staffing Services co-founder Peter Kranske said, “We are excited to become an integral part of Allied Universal. Joining forces with an industry leader provides the extensive resources and solutions that enable the Landmark team to continue our hard work, dedication and commitment to offering superior service to our customers.”

“Combining two of the industry’s leading event staffing companies provides an exceptional breadth of event services to our current and potential customers. We are enthusiastic about what the future holds for our organizations,” added Landmark co-founder Mike Harrison.

In 2022, Allied Universal announced 13 acquisitions — eight in North America and five internationally. In 2021, Allied Universal acquired 10 companies, including G4S.
