Wildrose MLA exchanges words with security

A Wildrose party MLA admits he had some heated words with a legislature security guard after he mistakenly parked his truck in a stall set aside for the premier.

Rob Anderson says he pulled into the slot at the rear door of the legislature last week, then got into it with the guard.

But the Calgary-area member says the officer got overly aggressive with him and he told her he would be contacting her superior about it.

Solicitor General Jonathan Denis, who oversees legislature security, says he was told the MLA got rude and tried to bully her.

Anderson calls it a mountain out of a molehill from a party feeling the heat in pre-election polls.
