Session 4: Designing and operationalizing a Security Operations Centre at Baycrest Health

Speaker: Martin Green, Manager, Security, Telecommunications & Emergency Preparedness, Baycrest

This summer, Baycrest Health Sciences in Toronto opened a new Security Operations Centre to manage the facility's 320 surveillance cameras and 350 card readers — a huge increase over the 48 cameras and 12 card readers just seven years prior. Martin Green explains the planning and implementation process, as well as the benefits the hospital has experienced since the SOC opened.
