Roy Williams, President, International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS)
Roy Williams III, MBA, CHPA, is the 2020 President for the International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS). Roy joined PalAmerican Security in 2019 as the National Director of Healthcare where he oversees the quality of PalAmerican’s healthcare programs, focusing on enhancing healthcare training and compliance. Roy has more than 25 years of healthcare security, safety, emergency management, and law enforcement experience, holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Western Kentucky University and an MBA from Columbia Southern University.
Prior to joining PalAmerican, Roy spent 13 years working at Baptist Healthcare Systems, Inc., the largest not-for-profit health system in Kentucky, as the Director of Security & Emergency Management for Baptist Health Hardin (formerly Hardin Memorial Health), and most recently as the Regional Director of Security & Emergency Management for Baptist Health Louisville & La Grange Hospitals. Roy has been a servant leader for the IAHSS for more than a decade, in the roles on the Board of Directors as Member-at-Large and now President, as a Resident to the Region 2 Chair, and as the Kentucky Chapter Chair.
