Two senior executives join Commissionaires

Commissionaires Great Lakes (Toronto) has appointed Carlos Espinosa as director of client services and Tim Datchko area manager.

“We welcome Carlos and Tim to the Commissionaires team and look forward to leveraging their experience and keen understanding of the security industry to ensure our continued delivery of high quality customer service to our fast-growing business,” said Tom Prins, CEO, Commissionaires Great Lakes.

Espinosa will direct and oversee contracts and commercial services with a focus on quality service delivery to clients. He brings 30 years of leadership, business and risk/security management experience to Commissionaires Great Lakes. He has extensive experience providing consulting support and investigations to diverse public institutions, private organizations and Fortune 500 organizations worldwide.

Espinosa began his career as a naval intelligence officer in Colombia, where he participated in Special Forces training and several military operations with international military forces.

Datchko spent 29 years as a senior officer with the Canadian Armed Forces, (CAF), and has prior security experience with Mississauga-based Hatch. While with the CAF, he was deployed on several international operations and conducted in-depth security assessments and physical reconnaissance activities.
