
TSM hires retired Toronto Police Service Deputy Chief

NewsTotal Security Management Services Inc. announced that A.J. (Tony) Warr, recently retired Deputy Chief of the Toronto Police Service, will join TSM as their new Director of Corporate Risk Management effective September 15th, 2011.
Warr comes with over 40 years of experience in Law Enforcement and for the last six years was the Deputy Chief in charge of the Service’s Specialized Operations Command which includes the specialized investigative and support units. He is a graduate of the “Leadership in Counter Terrorism program”, an international program for those at the highest level in their organization in command of national security matters.
In addition, Warr is one of the founding members of the Canadian Integrated Response to Organized Crime, a National program to coordinate Canada’s Law Enforcement Agencies’ efforts. He has been in a leadership position for several large scale technology projects both for the Toronto Service and on a national scale. In 2007, he was appointed as an Officer of the Order of Merit of the Police Forces — the highest award given by the Canadian Government to Police Officers.
Warr said, “I believe that my experience will be invaluable to our clients in assisting them to determine their corporate and personal security needs.”
