
Toronto Transit reminding staff, passengers of security procedure

News Transportation paris terrorism TTCPublic transit agencies in Toronto say they are instructing staff and riders to be especially mindful of security as we enter a busy holiday season — particularly in light of the terrorist attacks carried out in Paris last Friday.
According to a story in Metro News:
Toronto transit operators are urging employees and passengers to remain watchful in the wake of last week’s Paris attacks.
“Our staff are always instructed to be vigilant,” said Metrolinx spokesperson Anne Marie Aikins. “They look for unusual behaviour in people, unusual objects left behind, that kind of thing.”
“When we’re in an increased state we particularly look at busy times, like yesterday during the Santa Claus Parade,” she said.
