According to Serco Canada, Ontario security guard and private investigator testing has resumed as of June 22 on a limited basis. Test centres were first closed on March 26 as a precautionary measure against the spread of COVID-19.

Serco, which administers guard tests on behalf of the Ministry of the Solicitor General, says testing is now available at 19 test centres and appointments are available on a limited, first-come, first-served basis. Applicants will be required to wear face coverings at all times in test centres and during the examination. As a result of the extended closure due to COVID-19, Serco indicates that wait times for an exam opening may be longer than usual. The organization says it is working on adding more test facilities and appointment availability. More information is available on the Serco website.
