Security • Police • Fire Career Expo Career Expo at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ont., brings together three separate fields for one full day of networking, education and first-hand advice. Students and anyone interested in starting a career (or transitioning to a new one) in policing, fire or security are encouraged to attend.
Motivational speaker and former RCMP officer Kwesi Millington is our keynote. He pulls from his past experience as a first responder to share lessons on how to build a resilient and confident mindset from the get-go. Get ready for an exploratory look into mastering resilience and how to enjoy building your inner mindset muscle. More on his talk here.
Additionally, experienced mentors from the security, law enforcement and fire worlds will be running roundtables, answering questions from attendees about how to get hired, what the industry is looking for, etc. Mentors will include professionals from retail, health care, cannabis, property management, municipal government and more.
New this year is our mock interview panel where some lucky students will be able to hop into the hot seat and see how they fair. Find the full agenda here.
