Rowan Hamilton joins Commissionaires Great Lakes as COO

Rowan Hamilton has joined Commissionaires Great Lakes leadership team as the new Chief Operating Officer.

“I’m looking forward to building on the company’s core strengths, promoting continued growth, and developing innovative solutions to respond to the evolving needs of our customers and employees,” said Hamilton in a statement. “It’s important to me to make significant contributions to an organization that has an explicit commitment to include veterans and their families within its workforce.”

Hamilton has held senior leadership roles in business development and business operations with national and multinational organizations. His 30-year career in the security industry includes positions with Securitas Canada, GardaWorld and Intercon Security. Hamilton recently served as director of business development with the Southern Alberta Division of Commissionaires.

“Rowan’s experience with national and multinational organizations makes him an important part of our leadership team,” Board Chair Gil Taylor said. “It’s also very important to us that Rowan has great insight into growth opportunities for Commissionaires as both a leading provider of security services, and an organization committed to employing veterans and military families.”
