The EXO Series high-definition (HD) network cameras from Moog Videolarm can withstand contaminants, chemicals, corrosion, bullets, impacts, flammable gases and dust. The new EXO Series Pan-Tilt-Zoom camera systems are designed for full 1080p video resolution. There are six models to meet the needs of various applications. Moog has also hardened each model’s electronic hardware to prevent, for example, food-processing debris, sea air or heavy vibration from affecting the camera’s video quality or network connections. The electronics inside each EXO Series camera are designed to NEMA TS2 operating temperature ranges of -50°C to 74°C. The six models of the EXO Series HD network cameras are: Anti-Corrosive; Bullet Resistant; Explosion Proof; Impact Resistant; Pressurization; and Surface Mount.  Each model is compatible with any ONVIF-compliant video management software. Depending on the model, Moog will construct the camera’s enclosure of IK10-rated polycarbonate plastic, 316 stainless steel, or cast aluminum.
AMG will be launching a new series of ruggedised multi-service ethernet switches. The new series provides Layer 2 Managed Ethernet functionality and supports integration of low-speed Input/Output. This allows Serial Ports, Alarm Contacts, Audio Devices and Analogue Video to be connected directly to the switch without any additional hardware.
Toshiba's IK-WD04A is a 720p HD mini-dome camera that is suited for high-definition (1280 x 800) indoor monitoring of retail shops, public spaces and businesses. The IK-WD04A includes such features as a wide dynamic range to correct images in challenging backlight situations, an SD card slot to record images locally, and a Varifocal 3mm-12mm lens that allows technicians to adjust aperture on the fly. The lens provides 4x optical and 4x digital zoom capabilities on top of 24° - 61° horizontal and 15° - 38° vertical angles. Other image enhancements include Back Light Compensation, Auto Gain, Day/Night imaging (color cut), and an 1/5 - 1/32000 sec. electric shutter.
The CM-611 camera from OpenEye is a 2 megapixel indoor IP camera. The CM-611 is lightweight and compact with a large degree of rotation. Designed for integration with OpenEye network and hybrid recording solutions, this PoE camera includes features such as 1080p resolution, H.264 video compression and dual stream transmission. With Power over Ethernet (PoE), the need for separate power lines is eliminated, reducing cabling and installation costs.
The EX14N is an all-environment Integrated Day-Night (IDN) camera for extreme weather applications. The design allows for performance in challenging environmental conditions. The housing is compact, yet large enough for a 9 to 22 mm varifocal lens, the mechanical filter imaging technology and integrated infrared illumination for 12 m (40 ft) Night Vision. The weatherproof design is suitable for hot, cold and wet environments and features an injection molded ABS-Nylon resin enclosure and completely insulated internal chamber.
Moxa Americas has introduced an industrial-grade 8-channel network video recorder (NVR) designed to meet the special requirements of energy plants, water treatment centres, oil and gas pipelines, oil drilling platforms, chemical processing, public transportation and other harsh environments.
The Nextiva EdgeVR includes Verint’s remote monitoring and management software and provides the benefits of an embedded network video recorder, such as bandwidth optimization, remote access and robust surveillance analytics.
The VPort P06-1MP-M12-T IP surveillance camera with HD resolution from Moxa Americas is purpose-engineered for mobile environments, such as delivery vehicles, trains, trams, subway cars, high speed rail, taxi cab, police cars, and metro, school or special use buses.
The Stan-Cam Color Video Camera from Stanley provides a continuous video signal of the area surrounding the protected door’s opening, including the threshold. Features include: Camera recording capability around door for added liability and security protection; seamless integration with SU-100 motion sensor, providing a camera view angle of 20 degrees out from the header; high performance colour video camera suited for varying light conditions; and a standard NTSC video output allows for easy interface to a wide range of recording and monitoring
Basler is introducing edge storage in all IP camera models. The SD card functionality already available in their IP dome camera models will now also be integrated into their IP box camera range. In this setup, the microSDHC card slot provides for local storage of up to 32 GB of data. This functionality makes it possible to store live streams or single camera images in configurable time intervals on an SD card. If a network failure occurs, the camera acts as a backup solution by recording video streams to the SD card. When the network connection has been restored, the video management system can retrieve the data and merge it seamlessly with video footage captured before the connection was
