Samsung's ONVIF-compliant SRN-1000 provides up to 24TB of on-board video storage with the capability to add an additional 24TB of storage via two external eSATA storage devices. An unlimited number of SRN-1000s can work together for a server style-recording solution centrally controlled via Samsung software. There is a range of resolutions ranging from VGA to 5 megapixel. The Linux based SRN-1000 NVR can record up to 64 cameras at a record rate of 100Mbps.  It supports H.264, MPEG-4 and MJPEG compression and is compatible with Samsung Centralized Management Software, which enables users  to access live or recorded video via a PC or mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet.

Vicon Mobile is a free app for iPhones, iPads and Android phones and tablets. It provides users of ViconNet video management systems a way to view live and recorded video from their network using a tablet or smart phone. Phones can display up to four concurrent video streams; tablets can display up to nine. Vicon Mobile can access video from any device on the network and provides full control of PTZ cameras as well as playback access. An interface includes pinch-to-zoom functionality on both live and recorded video, and video tiles are arranged on screen with a touch-and-drag motion. Hikvision's DS-2DF5274 1.3MP Network Speed Dome Camera and DS-2DF5284 2MP Network Speed Dome are designed for airports, industrial parks, harbours, and any large area where high performance PTZ functionality is required. The models incorporate true day / night cameras with an IR cut filter and are capable of a 1/3” progressive scan. The  IOI-XPVA-10D/100D analyzes the captured video signal, generates alarms, and notifies operators of the presence of people, vehicles or objects. It can be slaved to a stationary camera, which will communicate and hand off a detected moving object to the XPVA to track, enter and zoom in on a target without user intervention.
