Pivot3 introduces vSTAC Watch with IT functionality

Products CCTVPivot3 Inc., a provider of unified storage and compute appliances, introduced the vSTAC Watch to deliver more IT functionality to video surveillance environments. The vSTAC Watch adds support for 64-bit operating systems such as Windows Server products, introduces VMware Fault Tolerant and Pivot3 VM Failover™ options for high-availability, and standardizes hardware management on the Dell iDRAC™ management suite. List price for the 12 TB vSTAC Watch is 25% lower when compared to appliances used for general IT environments.
The vSTAC Watch is an open system appliance that runs third-party video management software (VMS) and provides reliable storage for video capture and playback. Individual vSTAC Watch appliances can be stacked to create, protect and load-balance storage across vSTACs as a reliable IP SAN.
