Peel Crime Stoppers, in partnership with local automobile club 10-94 Racing, is hosting a car show and public safety campaign at Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga, Ont., on Saturday, May 13.
There is a $10 donation to enter a show car and visitors may enter free of charge. All of the proceeds will benefit Peel Crime Stoppers.
Community partners — including Peel Regional Police, Ontario Provincial Police, Mississauga Fire, Peel Regional Paramedics, and Office of Emergency Management — will be providing automobile, road, school zone, fire, and health safety TIPS.
Organizers anticipate that more than 200 vintage, classic and modern show cars will be displayed.
“Peel Crime Stoppers is committed to investing in programs and educational forums aimed at promoting public safety in collaboration with first responders, local businesses, and the media. Together, we are helping build safer and stronger communities.” said Imran Hasan, chair, Peel Crime Stoppers, in a statement.
