Panel can help reduce false alarms
By Canadian Security
Products Fire & Life SafetySilent Knight, part of Honeywell, has announced its new IFP-2000 scalable intelligent analogue-addressable fire alarm control panel (FACP). The panel aims to reduce false alarms through individual point identification, drift compensation and maintenance alerts. It can use existing wiring, cover up to 636 points per panel and has a wide range of IDP detectors and modules connected to the circuit. The system can link up to eight panels and can be used as a single system or a series of smaller separate ones. It is also easily expandable.
