G4S Canada today announced that Jean Taillon, President & CEO, has been promoted to the position of Regional Managing Director, Central Government Services for the UK & Ireland region.

The Canadian executive team will now be reporting directly into the North American regional management structure, while the selection process for a new CEO is underway.

Since joining G4S in 2008, Jean has grown the Canadian organization by over 63%, and successfully joined the Cash in Transit and Security businesses to become one $500M G4S entity. Transforming a security personnel business into a successful national security solutions company, Jean built a sales and solutions culture in Canada, focused on continuous improvement. He created a technology solutions portfolio and aligned the business to add value through vertical expertise.

The North Americas division of G4S Secure Solutions comprises Secure Solutions USA, Secure Solutions Canada, and G4S Youth Services.  This region is managed by Drew Levine, President of G4S Secure Solutions North America.  This division employs over 50,000 people.

“This new structure will allow us to share best practices, strategies and processes across the entire North American region”, said Bill Henderson, COO, G4S Canada.  “It will also allow us to continue to drive positive change and innovation within the security solutions market. Great things lie ahead of us at G4S.”
