Fastlane Plus 400MA from Smarter Security is an optical turnstile with breakaway barrier arms. It combines advanced optical technology with a barrier to detect and physically impede unauthorized access. 400MA is designed to operate with barriers extended, opening only after an access system approval. The barrier arms quickly retract for an authorized user. At the core of every Fastlane, an infrared beam matrix is coupled with a custom-designed microprocessor equipped with neural network programming. Fastlane analyzes pedestrian movement and is designed to detect tailgaters at a quarter inch apart.
