Martin Green joins Baycrest as security manager

Baycrest Health Sciences has announced that Martin Green has joined the organization as Manager of Security, Telecommunications and Emergency Preparedness. With more than 35 years healthcare security experience, including leadership roles at several Toronto area acute care hospitals, Green brings a significant amount of expertise designing and implementing security programs.

He obtained his professional designation as a Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA) from the International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) in 2008. He is also trained and certified in Emergency Management, Contingency Planning, Disaster Response and Incident Management by Municipal, Provincial and Federal agencies.

Most recently, Green was employed by GardaWorld Protective Services as the Healthcare Market Specialist responsible for overseeing the company’s hospital security accounts across Canada.

Green has won multiple awards over his career, including the prestigious IAHSS Presidential Award in 2012 in recognition of outstanding contributions, dedication and service to the Association and to the field of Healthcare security and safety.
