Lions Gate Risk Management adds Marshall and LaLonde to executive team

Vancouver-based Lions Gate Risk Management Group has expanded its executive team in recent weeks with the addition of Rob Marshall, executive vice-president, and Mark LaLonde, senior vice-president, strategic initiatives.

Marshall is a veteran of the RCMP and was an accredited team commander and integrated homicide investigations team investigator. He managed multiple units during the 2010 Olympics and served as senior manager with the Drug Enforcement Branch.

Prior to joining Lions Gate, he held senior positions with BC Hydro including security operations manager, senior manager of security and chief security officer.

LaLonde was previously chief safety and risk officer at Simon Fraser University. His professional experience also includes the Vancouver Police Department, director of international operations at a consulting organization and also global experience in risk and human security in Southeast Asia, the Carribean, the Middle East and East Africa. LaLonde was recently recognized by Canadian Security with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Earlier this year, Lions Gate Risk Management, along with guarding and k9 sister company ARC Protection Corp., was acquired by Scarlet Security Group (SSG), a Calgary-based organization with additional offices in Vancouver, Yellowknife and Iqaluit.
