Keri Systems releases V-Track vehicle ID system

By Canadian Security

Products Access Control

Keri Systems has released an RFID product designed to automatically identify vehicles for such applications as gated community access control, parking lot access, and fleet management.

LRT-10 Transponders are placed in the vehicle’s windshield and can be activated at distances up to 30′ (9m) by the EX-10 Exciter antenna and read by the RXR-10 Receiver from up to 100′ (30m) away, allowing for simple and flexible installation that in most cases does not require trenching.

Multiple lanes can be accommodated by adding an extra Exciter to the system. The Transponder’s battery should last several years under normal usage and is easily replaceable. The system is available in either Keri MS Reader output for PXL-500P Controller compatibility, or Wiegand output for compatibility with virtually every commercially available access control system.
