Iron Horse Security announces the appointment of Dylan Dewdney as its new Director of Business Development.

Dewdney will provide strategic direction and lead relationship building for Iron Horse Security’s business development in the Greater Toronto Area.

“We are so pleased to have someone of Dylan’s stature, experience, and expertise leading our team in Toronto—it’s a testament to how far we’ve come as an organization, and where we see our future headed,” said Robin St. Martin, President of Iron Horse. “Dylan understands the security market in a sophisticated way and knows how to communicate effectively, finding thoughtful and creative solutions to the challenges and issues our future clients face, whatever their industry or business line,” adds Justin Ferns, Vice President of GTA Operations.

Dewdney places himself at the intersection of an industry that is seeing its overall focus change to a more customer-service driven approach, of which he says, “Iron Horse is one of those companies that saw presciently from its inception over twenty years ago that customer service-minded security was the alpha and omega of this industry, and it has no doubt led to their impressive expansion and excellent reference base, from condos to warehouses to governmental institutions, like Export Development Canada’s state-of-the-art head office complex; I am looking forward to carrying this ethos forward and proving the difference to our future clients, and I am honored that Iron Horse has vested me with the trust and responsibility to do so.”

Since its establishment in 1994, Iron Horse has been recognized for four consecutive years within the Profit 100 Fastest Growing Companies in Canada by Profit Magazine, and is a 7 year consecutive award winner of the Consumer’s Choice Award for Service Excellence. No other Security company in Canada has won these industry-leading awards.
