Incoming ASIS president focused on globalization

News Industry NewsDavid C. Davis, CPP, has commenced his one-year term as the president of ASIS International, an organization for security management professionals.
Davis is a senior division security manager for the Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector.
“It is a distinct honor to lead an organization comprised of my peers from around the world who represent every industry sector spanning the full spectrum of security environments, services and stakeholders,” stated Davis. “In the year ahead, our focus will be on expanded globalization and on enhancing value for our members through new, diversified resources and industry partnerships.”
Over the course of his professional career in security management, Davis has acquired vast experience within large, complex organizations. In addition to operational security, he has accumulated several concurrent years of managing fire protection; environmental, safety and health; and international trade compliance functions relative to technology transfer of exports and imports.
Davis is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He earned his Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification from ASIS in 2006.
