High powered X-ray cameras

The new Shad-o-Box 3K HS and Shad-o-Box 6K HS cameras feature resolutions of 2304 by 1300 and 2304 by 2940 pixels, with active areas of 11.4 x 6.4 cm and 11.4 x 14.6 cm respectively. Both models use a 49.5 micron pixel size. The new Shad-o-Box HS detectors deliver real-time frame rates of up to 10 fps, high sensitivity, and superb resolution in a single-tile, large area device that is fully integrated and features a fast, reliable Gigabit Ethernet interface.

The detectors offer a unique combination of higher resolution and fast imaging suitable for industrial X-ray inspection, scientific imaging, and non-destructive testing, including Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Inspection, Microfocus Computed Tomography (CT) and small-animal imaging.

Shad-o-Box HS detectors leverage Teledyne DALSA’s advanced CMOS image sensing technology, enabling the delivery of low-dose X-ray images that yield higher image quality than a-Si flat panels and image intensifier devices.
