High performance monitor

Bosch Security Systems has introduced its newest  flat screen LCD colour monitor — MON192CL10 — designed for several closed circuit television (CCTV) security applications. The new monitor features dual looping composite video and audio inputs and picture-in-picture for simultaneous monitoring of multiple areas. The design of the monitor allows exceptional, consistently crisp picture quality and avoids image degradation experienced with aging cathode ray tube (CRT) displays. In addition, the new model includes an analogue VGA/digital DVI input to accommodate the increasing use of PCs and digital video devices in security applications.

The monitor includes on-screen menus in several languages, front panel controls and a lockout feature that disables the front panel control buttons. The compact styling and narrow depth (three inches or 84 mm) enables the MON192CL10 to fit easily in small spaces on desktops, to be wall mounted or rack mounted. The monitor has a wide viewing angle — 178 degrees horizontally and vertically — so the image is viewable clearly regardless of its placement. The MON192CL10 consumes 50 per cent less power than a conventional CRT monitor and includes both DVI-to-VGA and DVI-to-DVI cables.
