
Heroes Weekend at Pacific National Exhibition

News Public Sector first responders veteransThe Fair at the PNE, Vancouver, is saluting first responders with a Heroes' Weekend on Aug. 22 and 23.
Current or retired Canadian ambulance workers, firefighters, military personnel, police, RCMP, coast guard, and search and rescue may show their valid first responder ID at the gates to receive free entry with one guest, to The Fair on Heroes’ Weekend. According to organizers, attendees can expect unique programming and displays on site to highlight the work of first responders all weekend long.
“Service members and first responders are true heroes, so we want to do what we can to honour these brave community members with The Heroes’ Opening Weekend and show our gratitude for their service,” said PNE president and CEO Mike McDaniel, in a statement.
