Gunfire, car chase at B.C. border crossing

Police chased a car through Surrey, B.C. on July 5, after a vehicle drove through the Pacific Highway Canada/U.S. border crossing. Witnesses told CTVNews.ca they heard gunfire and saw border agents surround the vehicle.

The vehicle apparently broke away from the border guards and Surrey RCMP gave chase. According to CTVNews.ca, the vehicle eventually turned back to the border, where U.S. border agents stopped it. A man was arrested at the scene.
