ALEXANDRIA, Va. ASIS International has announced that General John F. Kelly, U.S. Marine Corps, will present a keynote address on Military & Law Enforcement Appreciation Day at the 2019 Global Security Exchange (GSX).

The presentation, titled Geopolitics and Security, will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 11 from 8:30 – 10:00 AM and will be open to all All-Access Pass holders.

“Each year, our primary objective is to offer attendees a substantial range of opportunities for enrichment and education at the GSX show,” said John A. Petruzzi, Jr., CPP, 2019 treasurer, ASIS International, in a prepared statement. “To that end, we always strive to feature keynote presenters with the most fascinating and relevant stories to tell about their careers and experiences. We are thrilled to have General Kelly on board to share the story of the unique place he holds in our country’s military and political history on Military & Law Enforcement Appreciation Day at GSX 2019.”

Kelly is a 4-star general, as well as former U.S. secretary of Homeland Security and white house chief of staff.

ASIS says in his keynote, Kelly will provide his perspective and insights about the political landscape within the United States and around the world, as well as his thoughts on the roles the U.S. takes—and should take—in both.

Kelly’s keynote address kicks off Military & Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. All law enforcement, military and first responders receive free admission to GSX 2019 on Sept. 11 , which includes access to Kelly’s keynote, conference sessions, and the exhibits and education on the expo floor.
