G4S marks 50 years in Canada

The company was founded in October 1966 by retired members of the RCMP and was originally known as Canadian Protection Services.

According to a new release issued by the company:

Today G4S has offices across the country and G4S employs nearly 10,000 people, making it one of the largest employers in Canada.  Employees will be celebrating this milestone across Canada on October 12th with coordinated events.

G4S employs many different positions including Aviation Screeners, Security Personnel, Technicians, Business Development Managers, Area Managers, Service Delivery Managers, General Managers, Financial Analysts, Human Resource Professionals, Schedulers and more.

G4S provides security solutions to public and private companies in Canada; offering corporate risk services, security systems integration, software & technology, screening services and security personnel.  Worldwide G4S is the largest provider of security solutions, with operations in 100 countries and over 610,000 employees.
