On March 25, school security professionals, administrators and faculty gathered for Canadian Security magazine's Focus on School (K-12) Security event in Toronto. Featured speakers included Eric Roher, National Leader of the Education Focus Group at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP; Michele Bond, Toronto Police Service; Adam Cohen, National Director of Community Security for the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs; and Larry Johnson, President of the National Association of School Safety and Law Enforcement Officials (NASSLEO).

The day also featured a spirited roundtable discussion from leaders in their field: Enzo Addesa, Manager, Security and Risk Management, Corporate Support Services, Peel District School Board; Minaz Jivraj, School Safety and Security Officer, Duffein-Peel Catholic Schools Board; Mark Marchand, Associate Manager, Administrative Services, York Region District School Board.
