Stanley Access Technologies has released the Dura-Care Series 7400 Swing Door System.

Developed to meet the demands of the important hospital market, this will be Stanley’s first-ever ICU “hinged” swing product. As the first Stanley Access Technologies product to be associated with the new ICU family name, “Dura-Care,” the Dura-Care Series 7400 Swing Door System hopes to associate the new name with an image of incomparable product durability and innovation in the realm of healthcare and patient care-giving.

The Dura-Care Series 7400 Swing Door System was developed to meet the specific code requirement for “side-hinge swinging” doors serving hospital corridors, as well as fulfilling other requirements. It is UL tested and listed for leakage rated door assemblies or “smoke and draft” applications, and can be used in infectious disease control applications where +/- pressure rating is required. The UL® leakage rated assemblies test report has been made available in PDF format on Stanley Access’ public website: www.stanleyaccess.com. The Dura-Care Series 7400 Swing Door System is available in Single, Pair and Uneven Pairs. All pairs swing in the same direction.

“We are pleased to offer a new ICU swing door product offering for the hospital healthcare market,” states Thom Cordeiro, marketing manager, Stanley Access Technologies.  “Stanley Access recognizes the importance of the hospital market and will continue to provide state-of-the-art solutions to meet customer demands.”

The Dura-Care Series 7400 Swing Door System features a heavy-duty continuous hinge with a built-in concealed closer with 105 degree “hold-open” on active panel. On top of the door, there is a flush bolt on the inactive panel.  It is offered in both narrow and medium stiles with two header options. The ICU 7400 Series product is designed for right hand reverse and left hand reverse to meet the needs of various applications.
