Cytelligence opens new office in Ottawa

Canadian cybersecurity firm Cytelligence recently opened an office in Ottawa in Kanata Research Park.


“The growth of Cytelligence mirrors that of the tech sector in Ottawa. Our Ottawa client base and volume of business activity made an Ottawa office mandatory,” said Daniel Tobok, CEO, Cytelligence.

According to economic development agency Invest Ottawa, there are now 17,000 high-tech companies in Ottawa employing roughly 70,000 people, with aerospace, autonomous vehicles and AI being the top tech areas.

Daniel Tobok is a cybersecurity and digital forensics expert who has participated in over 1,800 computer forensic investigations and more than 1,000 security audits and risk analysis engagements.

Cytelligence has three lines of business: Cyber Breach Investigations, Digital Forensic Investigations and critical Offensive Security Services such as penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, breach response audits and phishing audits.

Cytelligence security team has 80 cybersecurity experts, investigators and forensic analysts. The firm opened in April 2016, with its headquarters in Toronto.
