Commissionaires Nova Scotia (CNS) announced in a press release that it has secured a multi-year contract to provide parking and curbside services at Halifax Stanfield International Airport.

Services began officially during the last week of Dec. 2021, with CNS providing staff to support operations for all groundside parking areas. Up to 65 Commissionaires will be employed at the site.

“We’re pleased to welcome the Commissionaires back to Halifax Stanfield,” said Glen Boone, director, cargo and real estate at Halifax International Airport Authority, in a statement. “Their team will play an important role in maintaining the positive experience we’re known for at Halifax Stanfield, by supporting passengers who use our parking and curbside services.”

The new contract marks a return to Halifax Stanfield for CNS, which provided security services to the airport for more than 50 years.
