Commissionaires appoints director in Alberta

The Canadian Corps of Commissionaires – Northern Alberta Division, headquartered in Edmonton, AB has announced the appointment of Major (Retired) Chris Duncan as Director of Operations.


This is a new position reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer. It has been established in response to continued grow in static, mobile and technical monitoring security services. Chris is a 12 year Veteran of the Canadian Forces with tours in Bosnia and Afghanistan. One of his primary functions will be to oversee the Division’s monitoring centre which has over 15 years of leading edge electronic surveillance experience covering a diverse set of technologies for a wide variety of clients across Canada.

Commissionaires Northern Alberta Division is celebrating 75 years of continuous service throughout Northern Alberta, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. As a not-for-profit  company their social mandate is to provide employment opportunities for Veterans of the Canadian Forces, the RCMP and others who wish to contribute to the security and well being of Canadians. With 1,800 security professionals they deliver security solutions to all levels of government, law enforcement and commercial clients.
