From maintaining private communication with team members to recognizing nearby threats, law enforcement and safety officers rely heavily on their hearing to survive. To enable officers to hear their surroundings while preserving confidential audio communication, Hearing Components has introduced the Comply Foam Tips A-100, which enhance communication and listen-only surveillance kits.

Designed with the specific requirements of the law enforcement and public safety markets, the new Comply Foam Tips A-100 is available online at complyfoampro.com and through selected market partners. The first market partner to incorporate the product is Ear Phone Connection, Inc., which launched the Comply Foam Tips A-100 with the company’s Tactical Ear Gadgets communication devices earlier in 2011.

Designed specifically for environments where covert communication and environmental awareness are equally important, the A-100 tips feature patented “dual foam” technology to hold communication devices securely in the ear during fast-paced physical activities. The A-100 tips are made of unique “open cell” foam that lowers noise isolation to allow outside sounds in and reduce the echo effect often associated with in-ear communication
devices.

Worn for extended periods of time, comfort and fit are important aspects of in-ear communications devices. The fast-recovery foam used in the A-100 tips remains comfortable during extended use, reducing irritation and ear fatigue.
