York Regional Police say three men are facing weapons charges after a stabbing at a Vaughan nightclub early Sunday morning.

Police responded to a weapons call inside the On the Rox nightclub (at 1600 Steeles Ave. West) at about 2:15 a.m. and found two security guards suffering from stab wounds.

Both victims were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and police say they will be interviewed as part of the investigation.

Police say they stopped a vehicle leaving the parking lot of the club after the stabbing and three men were arrested for possession of a handgun.

Police are still investigating to determine if the unidentified men were involved in the stabbing.

They say the investigation into the stabbing is ongoing and are asking any witnesses who saw the incident to come forward.
