Cash counting, secure storage
By Canadian Security
Products Fire & Life SafetyCash counting and security equipment manufacturer Volumatic will feature its CounterCache intelligent (CCi) electronic cash security and storage system at booth #414 at the National Food Safety Security Council (NFSSC) 2010 Expo.
The show takes place from August 1-4 at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch in St. Louis, Mo.
Volumatic’s CCi processes cash right at the register. Immediately after a cash transaction, bills are fed into the CCi where they are validated and counted. The bills are then stored in a recyclable and tamper-evident pouch called TruPouch. The TruPouch allows secure transportation of cash off-site, dramatically reducing the possibility of theft and the cost of handling.
In addition, the CCi maintains a continuous transaction log with full bill count that enables instant and efficient shift change and operator accountability. Electronic transfer of all information is available and data can be accessed via RS232, USB, Bluetooth or Ethernet communication ports to a host computer such as a PC or PDA.
